Why Get An Injury Risk Screening?
We identify where your body lacks range of motion, joint stability, strength through range and more, that will tell us which joints and body areas are most at risk of injury if exposed to excessive use and/or stress. We will tell you where you and what you can do to improve your training, reduce your risks and potentially boost your performance.
What Is Involved In The Screening?
When we meet we will briefly discuss your personal & medical history before commencing some physical tests. The tests include a postural, a muscular asymmetry check. Followed by assessment techniques designed to test your range of motion, and strength within key body areas. We use traditional physiotherapy assessment techniques along with a state of the art digital dynamometer. None of them are painful and all of them are optional.
What Do I do With My Results?
We will give you a copy of your results that will include the individual test results along with suggestions for training additions or interventions to help you reduce your risk of injury in the future. You can take that away for consideration and implement your own intervention protocols. We have the option to develop that information into an injury prevention training session or programme to eliminate the identified risks and keep you participating in your chosen sport.

Knowledge is power. When you know where your weaknesses and injury risks are, whether it's increasing range of motion in your right shoulder or strengthening your left hip flexors, we can work to reduce those risks and improve your performance. As a former athlete myself, I would have loved to have access to this kind of screening so I could have stayed training and competing for longer. Hence why I have designed this service myself, for you!
